WS32.NET • Killing Floor 1

Server Rules.

A few simple rules keep WS32.NET enjoyable for everyone. Follow them, respect other players and focus on what you’re actually here for: killing Zeds and having a good time.

Why do we have rules?

WS32.NET is built around custom Killing Floor gameplay, progression, maps and a community of players. One person deliberately abusing a bug, spamming voice chat or griefing teammates can ruin the experience for everyone else. These rules are here to prevent that — not to make the server unnecessarily restrictive.

The Rules

Keep it fair. Keep it fun.

Most of these are common sense. Don’t ruin the game for other players and you probably won’t have any problems.

01

Respect Other Players

Insulting or deliberately disrespecting other players is not allowed. Friendly banter between friends is fine when everyone involved is okay with it.

Have fun, joke around — but know when to stop.
02

No Map Bugs or Unreachable Spots

Do not climb, hide or exploit places where Zeds cannot reach or damage you. This applies to all types of Zeds.

Map bug = don’t use it for an advantage.
03

No Medic Farming

Intentionally damaging yourself while another player repeatedly heals you to farm XP, levels or progression is forbidden.

Play Medic. Don’t farm Medic.
04

Don’t Block Players

Intentionally blocking another player’s path is not allowed. Don’t stand in doorways or other important positions just to prevent teammates from moving.

Don’t become a human door.
05

No Advertising

Advertising other servers, websites, communities or similar services is forbidden. This includes chat, voice chat, player names, messages and links.

Players came here to play, not to read advertisements.
06

Don’t Spam

Chat spam and voice-chat spam are not allowed. Don’t flood the chat, repeatedly send the same messages or deliberately make excessive noise.

07

No Cheats or Hacks

Cheaters don’t belong here. Using hacks, cheats, unauthorized programs or other software intended to give you an unfair advantage will result in punishment.

“I was only testing it” is not an exception.
08

No Music Through Voice Chat

Do not play music through your microphone. Voice chat is for communicating with other players, not for turning the server into your personal radio.

09

Voice Chat Is 16+

Voice chat is intended for players aged 16 and older. Younger players may use voice chat if their voice does not sound noticeably childish or squeaky.

The point is a comfortable voice-chat environment.
10

No Griefing

Deliberately interfering with other players’ ability to play is not allowed. This includes intentional blocking, sabotaging gameplay, repeatedly disturbing players or deliberately causing teammates to fail.

Griefing may result in a session kick.
11

Don’t Argue With Administrators

If an administrator tells you to stop doing something, stop. Arguing in the middle of the situation will not make things better.

Asking why is fine. Starting a fight isn’t.
12

No Server Bug Exploitation

Do not intentionally abuse server bugs or exploits for personal benefit. This includes obtaining unintended health, speed, money, XP or other advantages.

If something clearly isn’t working as intended, don’t turn it into your farming method.
13

Level Requirement for HoE

Players below Level 40 will be kicked from Hell on Earth (HoE) servers. This requirement applies specifically to HoE.

Normal and Hard do not have this restriction.
Difficulty Requirement

Know your difficulty.

Level 40 is required for HoE.

This restriction exists because Hell on Earth is intended for more experienced players. Normal and Hard remain available without this level requirement.

NORMAL No Level Requirement
HARD No Level Requirement
HOE Level 40+
Enforcement

What happens if you break the rules?

It depends on what you did.

Breaking a rule does not always result in the same punishment. Administrators may consider what happened, whether it was intentional and whether you’ve already been warned.

01 Warning
02 Kick
03 Temporary Punishment
04 Ban

Serious offenses — especially cheating, severe griefing or deliberate exploitation — may result in stronger action without repeated warnings.

✓

Use Some Common Sense.

Not every possible situation can be written down as a rule. If you’re constantly looking for loopholes like “technically, the rules don’t say I can’t…”, you’re probably missing the point.

Don’t cheat. Don’t exploit bugs. Don’t harass people. Don’t spam. Don’t advertise. Don’t deliberately interfere with other players.

Play the game, enjoy the server and let everyone else do the same.
